California Introduces a New Program for Unemployed Camarillo Home Owners

If you are a Camarillo homeowner and currently unemployed you may qualify for up to $3000/month mortgage assistance for up to six months while looking for a new job.

The program called Keep Your Home California, will use nearly $2 billion in Federal funding to help California homeowners who are struggling to make their mortgage payments.

If you are a Camarillo homeowner who can take advantage of this offer you are asked to call your mortgage provider for assistance.

Who Qualifies for CALHFA Program:

The homeowners’ eligibility requirements for this program include, but are NOT limited to:

  • Occupy home as their primary residence
  • Current unpaid principal balance of first mortgage cannot exceed $729,750
  • Meet low or moderate income limits for Camarillo
  • Complete and sign a hardship letter
  • Mortgage loan is delinquent or in imminent default

NOTE: A homeowner cannot receive assistance if their mortgage provider has not signed an agreement with California Housing Financial Agency Mortgage Assistance Corporation (CALHFA MAC).
